One of the other fun things about visiting Colorado Springs is getting to see Bill's mother Francis, another of Daniel's honorary grandmas. We brought along a bunch of toys and let Joaquin just play on her floor, which she really enjoyed. She was constantly amazed at what his toys could do (I have to admit, they are frequently technological marvels. The amount of engineering that goes into some toys is impressive.) and Joaquin had a good time showing them off to her. I also had a great time b/c she repeatedly told me how smart he was and how much he talked for his age. Yes I am a biased mother, I love hearing how fabulous my son is. You can see from these photos how goofy the three of them were getting.
