Show day for the Fall semester at Little Gym, yeah! Joaquin still loves LG, but he doesn't always do a good job following directions. So having people watch him didn't really mean he did any better at that. In fact, he refused at first to do his bar 
routine. I had to threaten to just take him home and for Grandma to go and Daddy to go back to work. But after all the fun drama he decided to participate beautifully and did a great job. My favorite is actually watching him 'tumble'. He does a pretty good job with forward roles still and 
his new thing is 'star jumps'. For a star jump you jump while throwing your legs and arms out as far as possible. It is wildly entertaining to watch small children do this (possibly because mostly they can't). Joaquin does a pretty good job at this actually (the video at the end of this blog is by no means his best).
Anyway, we had fun with that and fun playing on the equipment and taking pictures during free time. And then of course we had our moment on the 'podium' while receiving our medal. Inspirational music and all.
