We spent a pretty low key Father's Day. First, church than lunch with friend's (Daniel's request, it was Father's Day after all) and then dinner with Grandpa-pa. Joaquin and I made frames (to hold pictures of ourselves, egoists that we are) for Daddy. Then a cool tie for Grandpa-pa with the schematic for the Apollo rocket instrument panel on it. (seriously, how could I resist that?) All very normal and regular, but when it came time for the traditional 'boy' picture, Joaquin protested. Here he is hiding his face. The only picture in which he actually took what looks like willing part, is this one. Of course my dad and brother look like idiots. There are several others where it's very evident that my father is desperately trying to hold Joaquin in the picture. It feels like poetic justice since my father took so many pictures of me as a child trying desperately to hold Matthew in the picture. Ahhh, payback.... now how to torment Matthew?
