This is Joaquin's invention for carrying his change. It's a can lid taped to his pants leg. Then he used his strong magnets to hold a string on the lid and the other end of the string on an old Altoids tin. He filled the tin with coins and came out to the living room to show me proudly. (He sounded a little like the Jacob Marley scene in "A Christmas Carol".) He told me it was a great way to carry around his money. I suggested that perhaps most people just put their money in their pockets and he could too. He said this was more convenient.

I might like his way better. I haven't yet gotten into the habit of remembering to check Jonah's pockets for treasures . . . I need to. :-)
